Andrew McLean is the Founder and Managing Director of IMD™ - Integrated Modular Delivery, a compliance-led modular delivery framework focused on improving certainty, programme control, and risk management in complex construction projects across Australia and New Zealand.
Andrew specialises in structuring modular projects that sit at the intersection of offshore manufacturing, local design and compliance, logistics coordination, and on-site delivery. His work focuses on solving the real-world failures of fragmented delivery models where misaligned interfaces, unclear accountability, and compliance gaps often undermine project outcomes.
Through IMD™, and with strategic support from C&D Group and the Australia China Accelerator Center (ACAC), Andrew leads the development of an integrated delivery approach that front-loads risk, strengthens governance across the supply chain, and aligns project stakeholders under a single, structured delivery framework.
This platform-level backing enables IMD™ to access scaled manufacturing capacity, structured cross-border procurement, and institutional cooperation channels between Australia and China.
Andrew works closely with developers, government stakeholders, consultants, manufacturers, and financiers to deliver modular projects with higher predictability, stronger compliance outcomes, and improved delivery confidence.
His approach positions modular not as a "cheap or fast alternative," but as a disciplined, institutional-grade delivery system designed for long-term, scalable project delivery.
